Yin Yoga is a beautiful form of yoga, which uses long held floor-based postures to slowly open up the hips, pelvis and lower back. It is practised with muscular softness, mindful awareness and meditative stillness. Yin yoga combines these grounding asanas with the meridian theory of Chinese medicine and Taoist philosophy. It is a perfect complement to more active types of yoga, running, swimming and/or a busy hectic lifestyle. All welcome. No experience necessary.
