The Retreat centre has arisen from the ruins of an abandoned mountain village of Corgas Bravas, in the foothills of the Algarve in Portugal. It is defined by its spectacular uninterrupted 360° views of the Serra do Caldeirão mountains, a Zona De Intervenção Florestal protected for its natural beauty and famous Portuguese cortiça (cork) trees.
There are no cars, no roads, no buildings, no neighbours. Nothing but wilderness and nature. Nothing to hear but the birds and the wind. Nothing to do but restore and relax the body, mind and soul. We have private hire of it for exclusive use.
The ‘Manor House’ and surrounding ruins have undergone a 2-year restoration and redevelopment project, transforming the iconic setting into a bespoke wellness retreat.
Expect to escape the pressures of modern life, out in nature embarking on a programme of yoga and wellness aiming to restore health and balance in our lives. You’ll return home feeling brand new and fantastic!
What to expect: Yoga & meditation, expert nutrition, guided walks, massage (optional), swimming (cold water at the time of year), the sauna, relaxing – it’s a holiday too after all!

Flights & transfers are NOT included but the transfer from Faro between us (we can share) comes in around £30 return per person
We can share taxis to airport or get lifts between us
Flights are coming in around £150-300 (not all schedules are out yet)
How to Book
It’s first come first served – 60% up front to secure your place then the remaining balance 40% 3 months before we go (Aug 2025). Please note if you pull out unless we can fill the place the deposit will be non refundable (there may be an admin fee here too). If payment is really tricky for you do speak with me and we can see what payment plans we can do.
