For many of you today it was your first dip and the water was 8 degrees - aka "bloody cold!!" - This is an AWESOME achievement, you honestly should be so proud of yourselves. Thank you to St Martin's Secondary School for inviting me in to offer Wellbeing sessions to their staff - my late dad was a teacher of Autistic young adults and my mum was a primary school teacher so it's great for me to support teachers; they work very hard and are often under-appreciated. Plus I think any teacher of a teenager deserves to be knighted!

Why do we think we need to earn our rest? Why do we feel guilty when we do nothing? Since when has rest become a reward, something we have to earn to feel worthy of it? Rest does not need to be earned. We are WORTHY of rest full stop. Take it. We've been exploring a more restorative element to our practises this week. Do you need more rest?
